Enjoy our picturesque grounds and explore the hidden secrets of the local area

The Kingston Showgrounds are open to visitors year round. Hidden in the heart of the Hepburn Shire, the grounds are situated in the tiny regional town of Kingston.

Bring your dog, take a stroll around the ground, kick a ball on the arena, or take in the views from the heritage grandstand. There’s plenty of shade thanks to the lovely elm trees that surround the arena. Parking is available at the entrance gates.

If you’re visiting, the showgrounds are just a short drive from Creswick, Daylesford, Clunes, Smeaton and surrounding towns. Situated just off the main routes that connect these villages, the grounds are well worth a short detour!

Make a day of it! If you’re visiting the showgrounds make sure you also drive through the majestic and significant Kingston Avenue of Honour, enjoy some country hospitality and great local food at the Commercial Hotel at Kingston and pop over to nearby Smeaton to visit the historic Andersons Mill.

Please note that the toilets aren’t open unless an event is taking place. If you’d like to hire the grounds for an event or special occasion, we offer very reasonable rates and can provide full access to all amenities.
